Kalkhoff ENTICE 5 MOVE+

The ENTICE 5 MOVE+ model from Kalkhoff, launched in 2024, is a high-quality e-bike characterised by its well-thought-out features and robust construction. The frame is made from Integrale 0.6 CX aluminium, which gives the bike a solid and durable structure. With a maximum permissible weight of 170 kg, it is also suitable for a wide range of uses.

The ENTICE 5 MOVE+ is fitted with Tektro T535 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable braking power at both the front and rear. The drivetrain is fitted with a 10-speed Shimano Deore Linkglide, which enables smooth gear changes. The gear lever is also from Shimano Deore, making operation intuitive and precise.

For comfort and control, the bike is fitted with a Suntour Mobie34 Air fork, which offers 100 mm of travel. This ensures comfortable suspension on uneven terrain. The lighting comprises a Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED front light and a Trelock COB Line LED rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic.

The bike is powered by the Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System motor, which delivers 36 V, 250 W and a torque of 85 Nm. The accompanying Li-ion battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is charged using a Bosch 4A charger. The Bosch Kiox 300 colour display with Walk Assist function offers user-friendly control of the electric assistance.

Other features include aluminium MTB flat pedals with reflectors, a Concept EX riser handlebar and an adjustable Concept EX stem with a length of 100 mm. The Rodi Cyclone rims with stainless steel spokes and CST Gripper tyres (57-622) ensure stability and grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The Selle Royal Vivo saddle and the suspension-equipped Patent seatpost offer additional comfort on longer rides.

The bike is fitted with plastic mudguards with edge protection and a MIK HD luggage rack, making it equally suitable for everyday use and touring. The price for the ENTICE 5 MOVE+ is 4499 EUR, which can be considered reasonable given the bike’s extensive specification and quality.
