HNF Nicolai XD4 All Terrain AutomatiQ

The XD4 All Terrain AutomatiQ from HNF Nicolai, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. Priced at 6,450 EUR, it offers a wide range of features suitable for both everyday use and challenging off-road riding. The aluminium frame contributes to a maximum load capacity of 150 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 33 kg.

In terms of braking performance, the bike is fitted with Magura brakes: the MT5 model at the front with a 203 mm disc, and the MT4 at the rear with an 180 mm disc. The Enviolo CVP TR gear system offers an impressive 99 gears, allowing for flexible adaptation to various riding conditions. The RockShox Recon Silver fork, with 120 mm of travel, ensures a smooth ride over uneven terrain.

In terms of lighting, the bike is fitted with a Supernova Mini 2 front light and a Supernova M99 TL3 Pro Max rear light with brake light, ensuring optimum visibility. The VP Components pedals and the Miranda Delta bottom bracket contribute to the stability and efficiency of the drivetrain, which is complemented by the Gates CDX belt drive.

The handlebars are Ergotec Low Riser Bar I, 740 mm wide with a 12° angle, whilst the adjustable Ergotec Sepia XL FI stem can be set from 50 to 90 mm. The Ryde Andra 29 rims and WTB Groov-E FG tyres provide a solid foundation for every ride, supported by the Solon DH908TF front hub and the Enviolo CVP TR rear hub.

The Selle Royal ON Moderate saddle with Ergotec Atar seatpost provides comfort, whilst the HNF aluminium mudguards and the Pletscher Optima Flex kickstand are practical additions. An Abus Bordo Granit folding lock ensures security, and the Racktime luggage rack can carry loads of up to 25 kg.

The XD4 All Terrain AutomatiQ is powered by the Bosch Smart System Performance Line CX motor, which is paired with a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The Bosch Kiox 300 display offers intuitive control and a clear display of ride data. With a seat tube length of 450 mm, a reach of 431 mm and a stack of 678 mm, the bike is ergonomically designed to ensure a comfortable riding position.
