HNF Nicolai XD4 All Terrain

The "XD4 All Terrain" model from HNF Nicolai, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike designed for challenging off-road riding. It features a robust design with an aluminium frame that supports a maximum load of 150 kg and weighs 33 kg itself. The price for this model is 5990 EUR.

Braking performance is provided by Magura brakes with a 203mm MT5 disc at the front and a 180mm MT4 disc at the rear, offering reliable control even on steep descents. The Enviolo CVP TR gear system, with its CT Pure twist grip, allows for stepless adjustment of the 99 gears, ensuring flexible adaptation to different types of terrain. The RockShox Recon Silver fork, with 120mm of travel, ensures a comfortable ride on uneven terrain.

Lighting is provided by the Supernova Mini 2 front light and the Supernova M99 TL3 Pro Max rear light with brake light, ensuring sufficient visibility even in poor lighting conditions. Power is transmitted via the Gates CDX system, comprising a 125T timing belt, a 55T crankset with bashguard and a 24T sprocket, ensuring quiet and low-maintenance power transmission.

The handlebars are Ergotec Low Riser Bar I, 740mm wide with a 12° angle, fitted with Ergon GP10 L grips for improved comfort. The adjustable Ergotec Sepia XL FI 50 stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position.

The Ryde Andra rims, combined with the WTB Groov-E FG tyres, offer stability and traction on a wide variety of surfaces. The Solon DH908TF front hub and the Enviolo CVP TR rear hub contribute to the robustness of the wheelset.

The Selle Royal ON Moderate saddle, mounted on an Ergotec Atar seatpost, ensures a comfortable ride, whilst the HNF aluminium mudguards protect against dirt. For added security, the Abus Bordo Granit folding lock is integrated. The Racktime luggage rack is designed for loads of up to 25 kg and uses the Snap-It 2.0 system for easy handling.

The XD4 All Terrain is powered by a Bosch Smart System Performance Line CX motor, which is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh. The Bosch Kiox 300 display provides all relevant information about the ride and the battery status. With a reach of 455 mm and a stack of 683 mm, the bike offers balanced geometry for a comfortable ride. The seat tube length is 490 mm, ensuring a good fit for many riders.
