HNF Nicolai UD3 All Terrain

The “UD3 All Terrain” model from HNF Nicolai, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality features. The frame is made of aluminium, giving the bike a sturdy yet lightweight construction. With a total weight of 30 kg and a load capacity of up to 150 kg, it is suitable for both everyday use and more demanding tours.

The braking system features Magura components, with an MT5 brake at the front and an MT4 brake at the rear, fitted with 203 mm and 180 mm discs respectively, ensuring reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Enviolo CVP TR system, operated via an Enviolo CT twist grip and offering a wide range of gear ratios with 99 speeds. The RockShox Recon Silver 29" fork with 100 mm of travel, as well as the EXT 34 air suspension fork, also with 100 mm of travel, ensure comfort and control on a variety of surfaces.

For lighting, the bike is fitted with a Supernova Mini 2 front light and a Supernova R-Light E3 Universal rear light, ensuring optimum visibility in road traffic. The pedals are either from VP Components (VPE-461) or Marwi (SP-2160), whilst the drivetrain consists of a Gates CDX system with a 55T crankset, a 26T sprocket and a 125T belt.

The handlebars are Satori H-Bar Noir, complemented by Ergon GP10 (GP1) L grips or Herrmans Line DD36 for a comfortable ride. The adjustable Ergotec Swell RE stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. The 27.5-inch Vuelta Disc Runner rims are fitted with WTB Intersector tyres, which feature reflective strips and thus offer additional safety.

The bike is also equipped with practical extras such as a Pletscher Optima Flex kickstand, an Abus Bordo 6000/90 Powertube IT2.1 XPlus lock and a Racktime luggage rack for HNF with a load capacity of 25 kg. Power is provided by a Bosch Gen 4 Performance Line CX motor, which is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the electric assistance.

With a seat tube length of 440 mm, a reach of 395 mm and a stack of 645 mm, the UD3 All Terrain offers a comfortable geometry for riders of different heights. The price for this versatile e-bike is 4695 EUR.
