HNF Nicolai UD3 Adventure

The "UD3 Adventure" model from HNF Nicolai, launched in 2024, is a versatile e-bike designed for both urban and adventure riding. Priced at 3,990 EUR, it offers robust features and advanced technology. The frame is made of aluminium and contributes to a maximum permissible weight of 150 kg, whilst the bike’s total weight is 28 kg.

The braking system comprises a Magura VR MT5 with a 203 mm rotor at the front and an HR MT4 with an 180 mm rotor at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is a SunRace RDMZ600 12x, complemented by the SunRace DLEZ33 RW 12x shifter, which together enable precise gear selection across 12 gears. Comfort is provided by the UDING air suspension fork with 100 mm of travel, whilst the Supernova Mini 2 front light and the Supernova R-Light E3 Universal rear light ensure good visibility when cycling at night.

The bike is fitted with VP Components VPE-461/Marwi SP-2160 pedals and features a Miranda Delta bottom bracket with a length of 170 mm. The Miranda crankset with a 42T chainring and bashguard, along with the SunRace RDMZ800 12x 11-51T cassette in black, contribute to the efficiency of the drivetrain, which is supported by the SunRace CN12E 12x chain. The Ergotec Moon handlebars and Ergon GP10 (GP1) L grips offer a comfortable ride, whilst the adjustable Ergotec Swell RE stem provides flexibility in riding position.

The 27.5-inch Vuelta Disc Runner rims and WTB Intersector tyres with reflective strips ensure stability and safety on a variety of surfaces. The SunRace HBMX88F front and HBMX80R rear hubs guarantee a smooth ride. The Selle Royal Shadow saddle, mounted on a Satori Trident seatpost, provides additional comfort.

For everyday use, the bike is fitted with HNF aluminium mudguards, a Pletscher Optima Flex kickstand and an Abus Bordo 6000/90 Powertube IT2.1 XPlus lock. The Racktime luggage rack for HNF, with a capacity of 25 kg and the Snap-It 2.0 system, offers practical storage space.

The Bosch Gen 4 Performance Line CX motor delivers powerful assistance, powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display allows for easy control and monitoring of the system. With a seat tube length of 440 mm, a reach of 395 mm and a stack of 645 mm, the UD3 Adventure is designed for comfort and ergonomics.
