Haibike Trekking 10

The 2023 Haibike Trekking 10 is a versatile and high-performance e-bike designed for demanding trekking tours. Priced at 4699 EUR, it offers a solid specification and high-quality components that ensure both comfort and performance.

The Trekking 10’s frame is made of aluminium and is fitted with an M12 (1.00) x 148 mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 26 kg. This makes it a robust companion for longer rides and a variety of terrains.

The braking system comprises Shimano Deore M6120 components, with a 203mm disc at the front and an 180mm disc at the rear. The brake levers are also Shimano Deore M6100 and made of aluminium, ensuring reliable braking performance. The drivetrain is a Shimano SLX M7100 with 12 speeds, controlled by Shimano Deore M6100 trigger shifters, which enable precise gear changes.

The SR Suntour Mobie E45 LOR Lockout fork offers 100mm of travel and is fitted with a steel steerer tube (1 1/8" – 1 1/2" tapered) and a 15 x 100mm thru-axle. This ensures comfortable suspension and stability on uneven trails. Lighting is provided by the Haibike Skybeamer 300 (100 lux) and the AXA Blueline, both powered by the system battery.

The bike is fitted with VP E461 aluminium pedals with reflectors and features a steel crankset with 40 teeth, as well as a Shimano M6100 cassette with a 10–51-tooth range. The drivetrain also utilises Shimano M6100 components.

The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar ++ with a width of 740mm, whilst the XLC Comfort bo3 grips provide additional comfort. The stem is a Haibike Components TheStem ++, A-Head, with a bar bore of 31.8 mm and an angle of 12˚. The headset consists of A-Head Alloy Tapered components.

The rims are Rodi Tryp 30 hollow-chamber aluminium rims, whilst the tyres are Schwalbe Super Moto X, size 62-584, with reflective strips. The hubs are a Shimano MT400-B at the front and a Shimano MT410-B at the rear, connected by black Sapim Leader spokes.

The saddle is a Haibike Components TheSaddle, mounted on a Haibike Components TheSeatpost ++ aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 34.9mm. SKS Chromoplastik mudguards provide additional protection against dirt and water, whilst the Ursus Mooi kickstand is adjustable and ensures stability when parked. A StandWell KM040 luggage rack completes the specification.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Performance CX GEN4 motor, delivering 250W of power and 85Nm of torque, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is controlled via the Bosch Kiox display. A Bosch Standard Charger with a 4A charging capacity provides the necessary power supply.
