Haibike SEET HardSeven 3.5 Street

The "SEET HardSeven 3.5 Street" model from Haibike, released in 2020, is a versatile mountain bike suitable for both off-road and urban riding. Priced at 699 EUR, this bike offers a robust and well-equipped riding experience. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is designed for post-mount disc brakes, ensuring high stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 15 kg.

The brakes are Shimano MT200 with 160 mm discs, which, together with the aluminium Shimano EF505 brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a Shimano Acera M360 24-speed groupset, operated via the Shimano EF505 shifter/brake lever combination. The front derailleur is a Shimano Altus M313, which ensures precise and smooth gear-changing performance.

The SR Suntour XCT HLO-DS fork, with a steel spring and 100 mm of travel, provides good damping and comfort on uneven terrain. The fork also features a lockout, which makes riding on flat roads more efficient. For lighting, a Trelock LS232 front light with 20 lux and a Herrmans H-Trace Mini LED rear light are fitted, ensuring good visibility and safety on the road.

Other features include VP VPE-993 plastic pedals with reflectors, a Shimano UN100 bottom bracket with BSA thread, a Shimano TY301 aluminium crankset with 24–42 teeth, and a Shimano HG41 cassette with 11–32 teeth. The drivetrain is complemented by a KMC Z72 chain.

The bike is fitted with a Haibike Components TheBar + Topflat 720 mm handlebar and Haibike MTB grips, which, together with the Haibike Components TheStem + stem (A-Head, bar bore: 31.8 mm, 7˚) ensure a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The headset is an A-Head Tapered.

The XLC X-630 D-WALL aluminium hollow-wall rims and the Mitas Ocelot Reflective tyres (50x584) with reflective strips offer good stability and traction. The front hub is a Shimano Alivio T4050-1D hub dynamo and the rear hub is a Shimano TX505, both with black spokes. The wheelset is 27.5 inches in size.

The saddle is a Haibike Components TheSaddle, mounted on a patented aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The bike is also fitted with fixed polycarbonate mudguards and an adjustable Ursus Mooi kickstand, which enhances its practicality for everyday use.
