Haibike SEET HardNine 4.0

The 2020 SEET HardNine 4.0 from Haibike is a versatile mountain bike that stands out for its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is designed for post-mount disc brakes, ensuring high stability and durability. The maximum rider weight is 120 kg, making the bike suitable for heavier riders too.

The SEET HardNine 4.0’s braking system consists of Tektro M275 disc brakes with a 180 mm front rotor and a 160 mm rear rotor. The brake levers are also from Tektro and made of aluminium, ensuring reliable braking performance. The gear system is a Shimano Deore M592 with 27 speeds, operated by Shimano Acera M3000 Rapidfire shifters. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Acera M3000, enabling precise and rapid gear changes.

The fork is an SR Suntour XCT HLO-DS with a lockout function and 100 mm of travel. It has a steel steerer tube with a diameter of 1 1/8 inches and a threading of 8 x 100 mm. The pedals are VP VPE-993, made of plastic and fitted with reflectors, which improve visibility in low-light conditions.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB52 with a BSA thread, whilst the crankset is a Shimano MT210-3 made of aluminium with 22–40 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano HG201 with a range of 11–34 teeth, and the drivetrain is driven by a KMC X9 chain.

The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar + Topflat, 720 mm wide, fitted with Haibike MTB grips. The stem is a Haibike Components TheStem + A-Head with a handlebar clamp diameter of 31.8 mm and an angle of 7 degrees. The headset is an A-Head Tapered.

The rims are XLC X-630 D-WALL hollow-chamber aluminium rims, and the tyres are XLC MountainX in size 54-622. The hubs are Haibike Components TheHub + at both the front and rear, and the spokes are black. The wheelset is 29 inches in size.

The saddle is a Haibike Components TheSaddle, mounted on a Haibike Components The Seatpost + patented aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm.
