Haibike SDURO Trekking 4.0

The “SDURO Trekking 4.0” model from Haibike, released in 2020, is a versatile e-bike that is suitable for both daily commuting and longer trekking tours. Priced at €2,799, it offers a solid specification and high-quality components.

The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and features a quick-release skewer (5 x 135 mm) and a post-mount disc brake. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, ensuring a stable and safe ride. The brakes are Shimano MT200 models with 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, providing reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also Shimano MT200.

The bike is fitted with a Shimano Deore M6000 10-speed groupset, controlled by the Shimano Deore M6000 Rapidfire shifters. The fork is an SR Suntour XCM ATB HLO Lockout with a steel spring, offering 65mm of travel and featuring a steel steerer tube (1 1/8", 8 x 100mm).

Lighting is provided by a Haibike Skybeamer 150 with 50 lux at the front and an AXA Blueline rear light at the rear. The rims are Rodi Tryp 35, eyeletted and made of aluminium, whilst the Schwalbe Super Moto X (62-584, Reflex) tyres provide good grip and comfort. The hubs are Shimano M3050 models at both the front and rear, and the spokes are black Sapim Leader.

The wheelset is 27.5 inches in size. The saddle is a Haibike Components TheSaddle, and the seatpost is a Haibike Components The Seatpost +, Patent, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, made of aluminium. SKS mudguards made from Chromoplastik protect against dirt and water. An adjustable Ursus Mooi kickstand ensures the bike stands securely. The XLC Carrymore luggage rack system makes it easy to carry luggage.

Power is provided by a Yamaha PW-ST System motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm. The motor assists up to a speed of 25km/h. The battery is a Yamaha InTube 500, which is integrated into the frame and ensures a long range. The display is a Yamaha Side Switch, which clearly shows all the important information.
