Haibike SDURO HardSeven 5.0

The 2020 SDURO HardSeven 5.0 from Haibike is a versatile mountain bike suitable for both beginners and advanced riders. It is available at a price of 2,699 EUR and offers a solid spec that performs well on both challenging trails and in everyday use.

The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is fitted with an M12 (1.75) x 148 mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake mount. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, ensuring a robust construction and high load-bearing capacity.

For the brakes, Haibike has opted for the Shimano MT200, fitted with a 180mm disc at the front and a 160mm disc at the rear. The brake levers are also from Shimano – the MT201 model – and are made of aluminium, ensuring low weight and good durability.

The SDURO HardSeven 5.0’s drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore M6000 10-speed system, operated via Rapidfire shifters. This enables precise and rapid gear changes, which is particularly advantageous on rough terrain.

The SR Suntour XCM34 LOR Lockout fork, with 120mm of travel, provides comfortable damping and control on rough terrain. It features a steel spring mechanism and a continuously adjustable lockout, which ensures additional stability.

Other features include aluminium freeride pedals with reflectors, a Shimano HG500 cassette with 11–42 teeth and a KMC e10S drive chain. The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar ++ with a width of 740mm, whilst the grips have been specially developed for Haibike mountain bikes.

The stem is a Haibike Components TheStem ++ A-Head with a bar bore of 31.8mm and a rake of 6˚. The headset features an A-Head Alloy Tapered design.

The bike rides on Rodi Tryp 35 aluminium hollow-section rims with eyelets, fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Active tyres (65-584). The hubs are Shimano MT400-B models, both front and rear, and the spokes are black and supplied by Sapim Leader. The wheelset is 27.5 inches in size.

The saddle is the Haibike Components TheSaddle model and the seatpost is a Haibike Components The Seatpost + Patent, made of aluminium with a diameter of 31.6mm.

Power is provided by a Yamaha PW-ST System motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm, which offers maximum assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. The battery is a Yamaha InTube 500, controlled via the Yamaha Side Switch Display.
