Haibike SDURO HardSeven 1.5

The “SDURO HardSeven 1.5” model from Haibike, released in 2020, is a versatile mountain bike which, at a price of 2299 EUR, represents an attractive option for ambitious riders. The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium and is fitted with an M12 (1.75) x 148 mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, ensuring high load-bearing capacity.

Braking is provided by the Tektro M275 system with 180mm discs, whilst the brake levers are also from Tektro and are made of aluminium. The gear system consists of a Shimano Altus M2000 9-speed groupset, operated via the Shimano Altus M2010 Rapidfire shifter. The SR Suntour XCM34 LOR Lockout fork with a steel spring offers 120mm of travel and is fitted with a 1 1/8" – 1 1/2" tapered steel steerer tube and a 15 x 110mm Boost thru-axle.

The pedals are aluminium freeride pedals and feature reflectors. The cassette is a Shimano HG200 with 11–36 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X9 chain. The handlebars, grips and stem are from Haibike Components; the ‘TheBar+’ handlebars are 740mm wide, and the ‘The Stem+’ is an A-Head stem. The headset is also an A-Head Tapered model.

The rims are Rodi Tryp 35, eyeleted and made from aluminium as hollow-section rims. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Active in size 65-584. Both the front and rear hubs are Haibike Components TheHub ++, and the spokes are black Sapim Leader spokes. The wheelset is 27.5 inches in size.

The saddle is the “TheSaddle” model from Haibike Components, and the seatpost, “The Seatpost +”, is a patented seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm, also made from aluminium.

Power is provided by a Yamaha PW-SE System motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm, enabling a maximum speed of 25km/h. The battery is a Yamaha InTube 400, and the display is operated via the Yamaha Side Switch.
