Haibike SDURO HardSeven 1.0

The "SDURO HardSeven 1.0" model from Haibike, released in 2020, is a versatile mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and reliable components. The aluminium frame (6061) with quick-release axles (5 x 135 mm) and post-mount disc brakes is specifically designed for off-road use and offers a high level of stability. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, which is sufficient for a wide range of riders.

The braking system consists of Tektro M275 disc brakes with a diameter of 180 mm, as well as matching Tektro M275 aluminium brake levers, which ensure safe and precise braking performance. The gear system is provided by a Shimano Altus M2000 9-speed system, operated via Shimano Altus M2010 Rapidfire shifters, ensuring reliable gear changes.

The SR Suntour XCM DS fork, featuring a steel spring and 120 mm of travel, offers good shock absorption on uneven terrain. The steel steerer tube has a diameter of 1 1/8" and an 8 x 100 mm thru-axle mount. The pedals are aluminium freeride pedals, fitted with reflectors for added safety.

The drivetrain consists of a KMC X9 chain system and a Shimano HG200 cassette with 11–36 teeth, enabling efficient power transfer. The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar + Topflat with a width of 720 mm, whilst the grips have been specially developed for Haibike mountain bikes. The stem is a Haibike Components The Stem +, A-Head, paired with an A-Head Tapered headset.

The wheelsets consist of Rodi Black Rock 21 rims, which are eyeleted and made from aluminium as hollow-section rims. The tyres are XLC MountainX, size 57-584; the hubs are from Haibike Components TheHub + and the spokes are Sapim Leader in black. The wheelset is 27.5 inches in size.

The saddle, also from Haibike Components, offers comfort on longer rides, and the seatpost is a Haibike Components The Seatpost +, Patent, with a diameter of 31.6 mm, made from aluminium.

At the heart of the SDURO HardSeven 1.0 is the Yamaha PW-SE motor, delivering 250W of power and 70Nm of torque. The motor provides assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Yamaha lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 400 Wh, and the display is the Yamaha Side Switch, which clearly shows all the key information.

The model is available at a price of 1999 EUR and offers a good balance between performance and price, making it ideal for both beginners and advanced mountain bikers.
