Haibike HardSeven 7

The "HardSeven 7" model from Haibike, released in 2023, is a versatile e-mountain bike characterised by its robust construction and high-quality components. The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and features an X-12 (1.00) x 148mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, ensuring high stability and durability.

Reliable braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT410 brakes with 203mm discs at the front and 180mm discs at the rear, complemented by the aluminium Shimano MT400 brake levers. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano SLX M7100 12-speed system, operated by the Shimano Deore M6100 trigger shifters. This enables precise and rapid gear changes across various types of terrain.

The RockShox 35 Silver fork with a steel spring offers 120mm of travel and is fitted with an aluminium steerer tube (1 1/8 – 1 1/2'' tapered) and a 15 x 110mm Boost thru-axle. This ensures excellent damping and control on uneven terrain. The pedals are aluminium freeride pedals with reflectors for added safety.

The crankset is made of steel and has a chainring with 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano M6100 with a range of 10–51 teeth. The drivetrain is also comprised of Shimano M6100 components. The handlebars are XLC Topflat with a width of 740mm, and the grips are XLC MTB grips. The stem is an XLC aluminium A-Head model, and the headset is A-Head Tapered.

The rims on the HardSeven 7 are Rodi Tryp 30, eyelet-style and made of aluminium with a hollow-chamber profile. The tyres are WTB Ranger Comp, size 65-584, which provide excellent grip and stability. The front hub is a Shimano MT400-B and the rear hub is a Shimano MT410-B, both fitted with black Sapim Leader spokes.

The saddle is an XLC MTB model, mounted on an XLC Patent aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm. The e-mountain bike’s motor is a Yamaha PW-ST system with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm, which assists up to a maximum speed of 25km/h. The battery is an InTube model with a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged via a 4A fast charger. The display is a Yamaha Side Switch, which clearly shows all the key information.

The 2023 Haibike HardSeven 7 costs €3,599 and offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability, ideal for challenging mountain bike tours and everyday use.
