Haibike HardSeven 5

The Haibike HardSeven 5, model year 2023, is a versatile e-mountain bike available for 2,899 EUR. The frame is made from robust 6061 aluminium and is fitted with an X-12 (1.00) x 148mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 24 kg.

The bike is fitted with aluminium freeride pedals featuring reflectors. The crankset is made of steel with a 38-tooth chainring, whilst the Shimano HG200 cassette offers a 11–36-tooth range. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC e9S chain.

The handlebars are XLC Topflat with a width of 720mm, complemented by Haibike MTB grips and an XLC aluminium A-Head stem. The headset is an A-Head Tapered model. The rims are Schürmann Yak25, eyeletted and made from aluminium as hollow-section rims. The tyres are WTB Ranger Comp in size 55-584. The hubs are made from Haibike aluminium at both the front and rear, connected by black Sapim Leader spokes.

The saddle is an XLC MTB model, mounted on an XLC Patent aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm. At the heart of the drive system is the Bosch Performance Line motor, delivering 250W of power and 65Nm of torque, which provides maximum assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is controlled via the Bosch Purion display. A Bosch Compact Charger with a charging current of 2A is used to charge the battery.
