Haibike HardNine 6

The "HardNine 6" model from the "Haibike" brand, released in 2023, is a robust and versatile e-mountain bike designed specifically for challenging off-road riding. Priced at 3099 EUR, it offers a balanced mix of high-quality components and modern technology.

The HardNine 6’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium and features an X-12 (1.00) x 148 mm thru-axle as well as a post-mount disc brake. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, which highlights the frame’s stability and load-bearing capacity.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro M275 disc brakes with a diameter of 180 mm, combined with Tektro M275 aluminium brake levers. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore M4100 10-speed system, controlled by Shimano Deore M4120 trigger shifters, enabling precise and reliable gear changes.

The SR Suntour XCM34 NLO DS fork, featuring a steel spring and oil damping, offers 120mm of travel and is fitted with an aluminium steerer tube (1 1/8 – 1 1/2'' tapered) and a 15 x 110mm Boost thru-axle. This ensures excellent shock absorption and stability on uneven terrain.

The handlebars are XLC Topflat with a width of 740mm, complemented by XLC MTB grips. The stem is also made of aluminium and features an A-Head design. The headset is A-Head Tapered.

The rims are Rodi Tryp 30 models, eyeletted and made from aluminium as hollow-section rims. The tyres are WTB Ranger Comp, sized 65-622. Both the front and rear hubs are Haibike aluminium hubs, connected by black Sapim Leader spokes.

The saddle is an XLC MTB model, mounted on an XLC Patent aluminium seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm.

The HardNine 6 is powered by a Yamaha PW-ST System motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm. The maximum assisted speed is 25km/h. The battery is an InTube model with a capacity of 630 Wh and is charged via a 4A fast charger. The display is the Yamaha Side Switch, which allows for simple and intuitive operation.
