Haibike FullFatSix

The "FullFatSix" model from Haibike, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for demanding off-road adventures. Priced at 5299 EUR, this bike offers an impressive combination of performance and technology.

The FullFatSix’s frame is made from 6061 aluminium and is fitted with an M12 (1.50) x 197mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. It has 120mm of suspension travel, ensuring a comfortable ride over uneven terrain. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 120 kg, making it robust and versatile.

For the brakes, Haibike has opted for the TRP G-Spec Trail S model in aluminium, with a 203mm disc at the front and an 180mm disc at the rear. The brake levers are also TRP G-Spec Trail S models and are made of aluminium, ensuring reliable and powerful braking performance.

The FullFatSix is fitted with a 12-speed SRAM GX Eagle groupset, operated via an SRAM GX Eagle trigger shifter. This enables precise and rapid gear changes, which are particularly advantageous on challenging terrain. The fork is a RockShox Bluto RL with remote lockout and air suspension, which also offers 120mm of travel. The steel steerer tube is tapered (1 1/8" – 1 1/2") and the fork is fitted with a 15 x 150 mm thru-axle.

The rear shock is a RockShox Deluxe Select Plus with air suspension, which offers additional comfort and control. The pedals are made of aluminium and fitted with reflectors to enhance safety. The cassette is a Sram Eagle PG1230 with 11–50 teeth, driven by a Sram SX Eagle system.

The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar +++ Gravity with a width of 780 mm, whilst the grips are specially designed for mountain bikes. The stem is a Haibike Components TheStem 2, A-Head, with a handlebar clamp diameter of 31.8mm. The headset is an A-Head Tapered design.

The rims are Alexrims Blizzerk80 aluminium rims; the Schwalbe Jumbo Jim Evo tyres, size 100-559, offer excellent grip and stability. The hubs are Haibike Components TheHub ++ at both the front and rear. The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo, whilst the seatpost is a Kind Shock LEV-DX dropper post with a diameter of 31.6mm.

At the heart of the FullFatSix is the Yamaha PW-X2 motor, delivering 250W of power and 80Nm of torque, which assists speeds of up to 25km/h. The battery is a Yamaha lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The display is the Yamaha Side Switch model, which clearly shows all the key information.
