Haibike Dwnhll

The “Dwnhll” model from Haibike, released in 2021, is a high-quality downhill bike designed for challenging descents. It is priced at 4999 EUR and stands out for its robust construction and top-class specifications.

The frame is made from 6061 aluminium and features an M12 (1.75) x 148 mm thru-axle as well as a post-mount disc brake mount. The suspension travel is an impressive 200 mm at both the front and rear, giving the bike excellent damping and control on challenging trails. The handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar +++ Gravity with a width of 780mm, whilst the grips have been specially developed for Haibike mountain bikes. The stem is a Haibike Components The Stem +++ Direct Mount, and the headset features an A-Head Alloy Tapered design.

The rims are made of aluminium and are Alexrims Supra BH models. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai DD, size 63-584, which provide excellent grip and stability. The hubs are from Haibike Components: the TheHub +++ model at the front and the TheHub ++ at the rear.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Vivo, mounted on an XLC AllMtn telescopic seatpost with remote control and a diameter of 31.6mm. The bike is also fitted with a Yamaha PW-X2 motor, which delivers 250W of power and 80Nm of torque. Assistance is provided up to a speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Yamaha lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 500 Wh, controlled via the Yamaha Side Switch display.
