Haibike Adventr FS 8

The "Adventr FS 8" model from Haibike, released in 2024, is a versatile e-bike characterised by its high-quality components and robust construction. The frame is made of aluminium and features an M12 (1.75) x 148mm thru-axle and a post-mount disc brake. With 140mm of suspension travel, the bike offers comfortable suspension that ensures a pleasant ride on both rough terrain and tarmac roads. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, providing ample space for the rider and additional luggage.

The Adventr FS 8’s braking system consists of Tektro Orion M745 brakes with 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear, ensuring reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also Tektro Orion M745 models and are made of aluminium. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore M5100 system with 11 speeds, controlled via Shimano Deore M5100 trigger shifters. This combination enables precise and rapid gear changes.

For suspension, the bike is fitted with a RockShox 35 Silver fork, which features a steel spring and 140mm of travel. The aluminium steerer tube is tapered (1 1/8 – 1 1/2'') and the fork has a 15 x 110 mm thru-axle in the Boost standard. The rear shock is a RockShox Deluxe Select Plus air shock, which offers additional comfort and control.

The lighting system consists of a Herrmans H-Black MR8 E front light with 50 lux and an AXA Juno Ebike rear light, both of which are powered by the system battery. The pedals are aluminium freeride pedals with reflectors for added safety. The crankset is from Samox and has 38 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano M5100 with 11–51 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC X11e chain.

The Adventr FS 8’s handlebars are Haibike Components TheBar ++ with a width of 780 mm, complemented by XLC Comfort bo3 grips. The stem is also from Haibike Components – TheStem ++, A-Head – with a bar bore of 31.8mm and an angle of 7˚. The headset is A-Head Tapered.

The rims are Rodi Tryp 30, eyeletted and made of aluminium, whilst the tyres are Continental Ruban Reflex (58-584) and feature reflective strips for improved visibility. The spokes are Sapim Leader, and both the front and rear hubs are from Haibike Components TheHub ++, with the rear hub featuring a 12x148 thru-axle.

The saddle is a Selle Bassano Reko R2 E-Sport, mounted on a Haibike Components TheSeatpost ++ seatpost with a diameter of 31.6mm, made from aluminium. The bike is also fitted with Curana Apollo 80 aluminium mudguards and an adjustable Ursus Mooi kickstand. The Easylife system luggage rack with MIK system provides additional storage space.

The Adventr FS 8 is powered by a Yamaha PW-ST System motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 70Nm, which provides assistance up to a speed of 25km/h. Power is supplied by an InTube battery with a capacity of 630 Wh, which can be charged using a 4A fast charger. The display is a Yamaha Side Switch.
