Green’s Margate

The “Margate” model from the “Green’s” brand, launched in 2023, is a versatile electric bike fitted with a wide range of high-quality components. The aluminium frame ensures a robust yet lightweight construction capable of supporting a maximum gross weight of up to 130 kg. Weighing 24 kg, the bike offers a good balance between stability and manoeuvrability.

The braking system consists of Magura HS11 brakes with a coaster brake, ensuring both safety and reliability. The 5-speed Shimano Nexus gearbox allows for smooth adaptation to different riding conditions. The suspension is complemented by a suspension fork, which enhances comfort on uneven terrain.

For lighting, the Margate is fitted with a Herrmans H-Black Pro LED front light, which provides excellent visibility at 90 lux, whilst the AXA rear light ensures additional safety on the road. Power for the lights is supplied by a rechargeable battery, which makes maintenance easier.

The adjustable stem and suspension seat post allow for customisation to suit the rider’s needs. The Selle Royal Rio saddle offers extra comfort on longer rides. The aluminium hollow-section rims and Schwalbe Energizer Plus tyres with puncture protection and reflective strips underline the reliability and safety of this model.

Power is provided by the Bosch Performance Line motor with an output of 250 watts and a torque of 65 Nm, enabling speeds of up to 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 500 Wh, ensures a sufficient range, whilst the Bosch Intuvia display offers simple and intuitive control. The Bosch Standard Charger 4A ensures the battery charges quickly.

Other practical features include SKS mudguards and a Racktime Eco 2.0 luggage rack, making the bike suitable for both everyday use and longer rides. The Margate model is priced at 3399 EUR, which is a fair price given its extensive specification and high-quality components.
