Green’s Manchester

The "Manchester" model from Green’s, launched in 2020, is a versatile bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and excellent value for money. Priced at 499 EUR, it offers a solid foundation for everyday use as well as occasional trips. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium, contributing to a total weight of 16 kg and thus ensuring a light yet stable ride.

The Manchester is fitted with a Shimano V-brake and a coaster brake, which together provide reliable braking performance. The 7-speed Nexus gear system with a twist grip allows for easy and precise adjustment of speed to suit different riding conditions. The suspension fork provides additional comfort on uneven terrain by effectively absorbing shocks.

In terms of lighting, the bike is fitted with an AXA 15 Lux LED front light and a rear reflector, which are powered by the hub dynamo and thus ensure good visibility even in the dark. The crankset has 38 teeth, providing a balanced gear ratio. The stem and seat post are fixed in place, which contributes to the bike’s stability.

The aluminium hollow-section rims and black spokes give the bike a modern look, whilst the Kenda tyres with reflective strips, size 50-559, ensure good grip and visibility. The wheelset is 26 inches in size, offering a good balance between manoeuvrability and a smooth ride.
