Green’s Kensington

The “Kensington” model from the “Green’s” brand, launched in 2021, is a versatile and well-equipped bike that is just as suitable for everyday use as it is for long rides. Priced at 599 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The bike’s frame is made of aluminium, resulting in a total weight of 17 kg and thus providing a good balance between stability and lightness.

The Kensington is fitted with hydraulic disc brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance regardless of weather conditions. The Acera derailleur and corresponding shift levers allow for precise gear selection across 24 gears, enabling the rider to adapt flexibly to different route profiles. The suspension fork further enhances riding comfort by absorbing bumps on the road.

Lighting is provided by an AXA Compactline front light combined with a rear brake light, both of which are powered by a hub dynamo. This ensures a constant and maintenance-free power supply to the lights. The Shimano 3-speed crankset is finished in black and complements the gear components perfectly.

The adjustable stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position, which enhances comfort on longer rides. The aluminium hollow-section rims are eyeletted, which increases their robustness, and the Schwalbe Range Cruiser tyres in size 40-622 offer good grip and puncture protection. The black spokes blend seamlessly into the bike’s design.

The bike is fitted with a Selle Royal saddle, renowned for its comfort, and the seat post is fixed in place. The plastic mudguards protect against splashes and dirt, whilst the side stand ensures the bike stands securely.
