Green’s Cornwell 400

The “Cornwell 400” model from Green’s, released in 2021, is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 2399 EUR, is positioned in the mid-range market. The frame is made of aluminium, giving the bike a robust yet lightweight structure, with a total weight of 24 kg. The braking system features Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes at both the front and rear, with the rear brake also featuring a coaster brake function.

The bike is fitted with a Nexus gear system and a Nexus twist shifter, which allow for smooth operation of the seven gears. A suspension fork provides additional comfort by absorbing bumps in the road. The lighting comprises an LED front light and an AXA Blueline rear light, both powered by a battery-powered dynamo. The crankset has 38 teeth, and the adjustable stem allows the handlebar position to be tailored to individual needs.

The aluminium hollow-section rims and the Schwalbe Road Cruis tyres (size 42-622) guarantee stability and durability, whilst the stainless steel spokes ensure additional robustness. The Selle Royal Rio saddle and the suspension seat post offer comfort even on longer rides. The bike is fitted with SKS mudguards, which provide protection against splashes, as well as a side stand for easy parking.

Another safety feature is the AXA Solid Plus lock. The aluminium luggage rack with a flip-up cover allows you to carry luggage. The Cornwell 400 is powered by a Bosch Active Line Plus motor, supported by a 400 Wh Li-ion battery. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the e-bike system and displaying relevant ride data. Overall, the Cornwell 400 represents a well-balanced package of comfort, safety and performance, suitable for both city commuting and longer trips.
