Green’s Chester

The “Chester” model from the “Green’s” brand, released in 2021, is a sturdy bicycle available for 799 EUR. The frame is made of aluminium, which, combined with a total weight of 14 kg, offers a good balance between stability and lightness. The hydraulic disc brakes ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions.

Fitted with a Nexus gear system and a Nexus twist shifter, the Chester offers eight gears, allowing for comfortable adaptation to different riding conditions. The rigid fork contributes to the bike’s robustness, whilst lighting is provided by a Spanninga front light and a rear light, both powered by a practical hub dynamo.

The crankset is fitted with a 42T chainring, and the fixed-position stem ensures stable steering. The aluminium hollow-section rims, combined with Schwalbe Kojak tyres in size 35-622, offer reliable performance and good grip on the road. Black spokes complement the bike’s design.

The seatpost is also made of aluminium, which helps to reduce weight, whilst the mudguards are made of steel to provide protection against splashing water. This model does not feature a kickstand, which further reduces the weight and emphasises the simple design. Overall, the Chester is a well-equipped bike that is ideal for everyday use in urban environments.
