Green’s Balmoral

The “Balmoral” model from Green’s, launched in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike that performs well both in the city and on longer rides. Priced at €2,799, it offers a wide range of technical features designed to enhance the rider’s comfort and safety. The aluminium frame ensures a sturdy yet lightweight construction, with the bike’s total weight coming in at 28 kg.

The Balmoral’s braking system consists of Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which provide reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. Gear changes are controlled via an 8-speed Nexus hub gear system, operated by a Nexus twist grip. This allows for simple and precise adjustment of the gear ratio to suit different riding conditions. The suspension fork further enhances riding comfort by absorbing bumps on the trail.

For lighting, the model is fitted with a Basta front light and an AXA Blueline rear light, both of which are powered by a battery-powered dynamo. The 38T crankset, combined with the aluminium hollow-section rims and Schwalbe Energizer 50-622 tyres, ensures efficient power transfer and a comfortable ride. Stainless steel spokes contribute to the durability of the wheels.

The DDK saddle, together with the patented seat post, ensures comfort even on longer rides. The adjustable stem allows for individual adjustment of the riding position. Practical features such as SKS mudguards, a rear stand and a Trelock lock enhance the bike’s everyday usability. The aluminium luggage rack with a flap provides additional storage space for shopping or luggage.

The Balmoral is powered by a Bosch Active Line Plus motor, which is powered by a 500 Wh Li-ion battery. The Bosch Intuvia display provides all the key information about the ride and helps control the electric assistance.
