Green’s Ashford

The “Ashford” model from the “Green’s” brand, launched in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike positioned in the mid-range segment with a price of 2,799 EUR. The frame is made of aluminium, resulting in a total weight of 26 kg and offering a robust yet manoeuvrable structure. The bike is fitted with Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes at both the front and rear, with the rear brake also featuring a coaster brake function. Gear changes are controlled via an eight-speed Nexus hub gear system, operated by a Nexus twist grip, which allows for simple and reliable gear changes.

The suspension fork provides additional comfort by absorbing bumps on the road. The lighting comprises a Herrmans H-One front light with a parking light function and an AXA Blueline rear light, both of which are battery-powered. The crankset is fitted with a 38-tooth chainring, and the adjustable stem allows for individual customisation of the riding position. The aluminium hollow-wall rims, combined with Schwalbe Energizer tyres in size 47-622 and stainless steel spokes, ensure a stable and durable wheel set.

The Selle Royal Essenza saddle, together with the suspension seatpost, offers additional comfort on longer rides. SKS mudguards protect against dirt and spray, whilst the side stand ensures the bike stands securely. An Abus lock, suitable for a cable lock, provides protection against theft. The Racktime luggage rack makes it easy to carry bags and other loads.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, which, combined with a 500 Wh Li-ion battery, provides powerful and long-lasting assistance. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling and monitoring the motor system. Overall, the Ashford model represents a balanced combination of performance, comfort and functionality, making it an attractive option for everyday use or longer trips.
