GIANT Trance X Advanced E+ EL 0

The "Trance X Advanced E+ EL 0" model from GIANT from 2023 represents a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike developed for demanding riders. With a price tag of EUR 12,999, this bike offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and first-class equipment.

The frame of the Trance X Advanced E+ EL 0 consists of a carbon main frame and rear triangle, complemented by the Maestro rear triangle with geometry flip chip and a carbon rocker link. The frame integrates a speed sensor and is compatible with the EnergyPak Plus (WB Style). The bike has a suspension travel of 140 mm and a 12 x 148 mm axle with a SRAM UDH derailleur hanger.

Braking power is provided by SRAM Code RSC brakes with 4-piston and disc brakes in sizes 220 mm at the front and 200 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also of the SRAM Code RSC type. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM XO1 Eagle AXS, 12-speed, controlled by the SRAM AXS Rocker Paddle shifter. An MRP 1X HD2 chain guide provides additional safety.

The bike's suspension includes a FOX 36 Factory LiveValve fork with GRIP2 damping and 150 mm travel as well as a FOX Float X Factory LiveValve shock, which is specially tuned and has a 185x52.5 mm trunnion mount. The bike is equipped with flat pedals.

The crankset consists of a Praxis Performance carbon crank with a SRAM X-SYNC Eagle 36T chainring. The cassette is a SRAM XG-1299 with a gear ratio of 10-52T, and the drive is provided by a SRAM XX1 Eagle Powerlink system.

The handlebars consist of a GIANT Contact SLR carbon handlebar/stem unit with a reach adjustment of 40/45/50 mm and a width of 800 mm. The grips are GIANT Tactal Pro single lock-on. The rims are Zipp 3MOTO Carbon in the sizes 29" front and 27.5" rear, both tubeless ready with an inner width of 30 mm. The tyres are Maxxis Dissector 29 x 2.40" at the front and Maxxis Rekon 27.5 x 2.4" at the rear, both folding, tubeless and equipped with EXO or EXO+ protection. However, the bike is supplied with inner tubes as standard.

The hubs and spokes are also from Zipp 3MOTO, which ensures high stability and durability. The saddle is a GIANT Romero SL, and the seat post is a Fox Transfer Factory Vario post with a diameter of 30.9 mm and variable length depending on the frame size (S:125 mm, M:150 mm, L/XL:175 mm).

The bike also comes with a tubeless kit that includes fluid, valves, tyre levers, valve core remover and instructions. The drive is provided by a GIANT SyncDrive Pro2 motor, which was developed by Yamaha and offers a torque of 85 Nm. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak Smart InTube with a capacity of 400 Wh and is compatible with the EP Plus RangeExtender in a water bottle design. The display is SG & ANT+ compatible.

The package is rounded off by the GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger Compact charger with an output of 4A, which ensures fast and efficient charging of the battery. All in all, the Trance X Advanced E+ EL 0 offers outstanding performance for ambitious e-mountainbikers who don't want to compromise.
