GIANT Trance X Advanced E+ 1

The 2023 "Trance X Advanced E+ 1" model from GIANT is a state-of-the-art e-mountain bike that stands out for its advanced technology and high-quality components. The frame consists of a carbon main frame and rear triangle, complemented by the Maestro rear triangle with flip-chip geometry and a carbon rocker arm. The integrated speed sensor and compatibility with the EnergyPak Plus ensure seamless integration and expandability. The bike offers 140 mm of travel and is fitted with a 12 x 148 mm SRAM UDH dropout.

The brakes are Shimano Deore XT BR-M8120 (4-piston) with 203 mm discs, combined with Shimano Deore XT M8100 brake levers featuring the I-SPEC EV system. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore XT M8100 Shadow+ with 12 speeds, controlled by the Shimano Deore XT M8100 shifter, also featuring I-SPEC EV. An MRP 1X HD2 chain guide ensures additional security and stability for the chain.

Front suspension is provided by a FOX 36 Performance Elite LiveValve fork with GRIP2 damping and 150 mm of travel, whilst the rear shock is a FOX Float X Performance Elite LiveValve, which has been specially tuned. The bike is fitted with flat pedals and features a Praxis e-Cadet+ crankset with a Praxis Wave 36T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano SLX CS-M7100 with a gear ratio of 10–51T.

Power is transmitted via a KMC e.12 Turbo chain, which is specially optimised for e-bikes. The handlebars are GIANT Contact 35 SL Trail with a 20 mm rise, complemented by GIANT Tactal Pro single lock-on grips and a GIANT Contact SL 35 stem. The rims are GIANT e-TRX 2 Carbon 29", tubeless-ready with an internal width of 30 mm, fitted with Maxxis Minion DHF and Maxxis Dissector tyres in size 29 x 2.6", which are also tubeless and EXO+.

The bike is supplied with inner tubes, but a tubeless kit (fluid, valves, tyre levers, valve core remover, instructions) is also included. The hubs and spokes are part of the GIANT e-TRX 2 system. The saddle is a GIANT Romero, mounted on a TranzX Vario seatpost with varying travel depending on frame size (S: 120–150 mm, M: 140–170 mm, L/XL: 170–200 mm).

The motor is a GIANT SyncDrive Pro2, powered by Yamaha, delivering a torque of 85 Nm. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak Smart Integrated 800 with a capacity of 800 Wh and is compatible with the EP Plus RangeExtender. The display is SG & ANT+ compatible and the charger is a GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger with a charging capacity of 6A. The price for this model is 8499 EUR.
