GIANT Talon E+ jr. 24

The “Talon E+ jr. 24” model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike for young riders, available for 2299 EUR. The frame is made from robust AluxX material and features a 142 mm QR axle, ensuring stability and durability.

The bike is fitted with Tektro HD-M282 brakes with 160 mm discs, which provide reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also Tektro HD-M282, ensuring consistent operation. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Alivio M3100 9-speed system, controlled by the Shimano Altus SL-M2010 shifter, which enables precise and efficient gear changes.

The Talon E+ jr. 24’s fork is an SR Suntour XCM HLO with 80 mm of travel and a quick-release mechanism, ensuring a comfortable ride over uneven terrain. The pedals are made of aluminium and provide a stable platform. The crankset is made from a forged alloy with a minimal Q-factor and a 34T chainring. The handlebars are GIANT Connect XC Riser with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a 19 mm rise, which allows for a comfortable riding position. The grips have been specially developed for juniors by GIANT. The stem is a GIANT Contact, which provides additional stability.

The rims are GIANT GX03V with an internal width of 21 mm, whilst the tyres are Maxxis Snyper 24 x 2.0" Silkshield Puncture Pro and are supplied with inner tubes. The hubs are GIANT eTracker Sport / SyncDrive Move, and the spokes are made of stainless steel, ensuring added durability.

The saddle is a GIANT Youth Sport, mounted on a GIANT 30.9 mm seatpost. The bike is also fitted with a GIANT KSA18 kickstand and is compatible with the GIANT Rack-It Metro [Lite] luggage rack.

The motor on the Talon E+ jr. 24 is a GIANT SyncDrive Move2 HR hub motor with 30 Nm of torque, powered by JD. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak 250 with a capacity of 250 Wh. Charging is carried out using a GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger Compact with 4A, which enables efficient charging.
