GIANT Talon E+ EX

The "Talon E+ EX" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile e-bike designed specifically for off-road use. Priced at 2,699 EUR, this model offers a balanced combination of performance and features. The frame is a robust AluxX frame with a 135 mm QR mount, ensuring stability and durability.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-M280 brakes with 180 mm front and 160 mm rear rotors. The brake levers are also from Tektro and offer reliable and precise control. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Alivio M3100 9-speed groupset, combined with Shimano Altus SL-M2010 shifters, which enable smooth and efficient gear changes.

The SR Suntour XCM 32 ATB fork, with 100 mm of travel and a quick-release (QR) system, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The tyres are supplied with inner tubes as standard.

The hubs are GIANT eTracker Sport models, whilst the spokes are made of stainless steel, contributing to the bike’s overall robustness. The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on a GIANT seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. A GIANT KSA18 kickstand and a GIANT Rack-It MIK luggage rack complete the specification.

Power is provided by a GIANT SyncDrive Core motor, developed by Yamaha, which delivers a torque of 50 Nm. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak SideRelease with a capacity of 500 Wh, providing sufficient power for long rides. A GIANT EnergyPak FastCharger with a charging current of 4A is used for recharging.
