GIANT STP 20 GIANT

The “STP 20 GIANT” model from the “GIANT” brand, released in 2023, offers a solid spec at a price of 529 EUR. The frame is made from robust AluxX aluminium with a 141 mm QR axle, ensuring stability and durability.

The braking system consists of mechanical disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, which, together with the Junior MTB alloy brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system features a Shimano Altus RD-M310 7-speed rear derailleur, operated via Shimano Revoshift shifters, enabling precise and easy gear selection.

The fork is also made from AluxX aluminium and features a QR axle to match the frame. The pedals are included, meaning the bike is ready to ride straight away. The bottom bracket is a semi-cartridge model, known for its long service life and low maintenance requirements.

The crankset is made from forged alloy with a 30-tooth chainring and a chain guard, providing additional safety. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200 with a 12–32T range, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a KMC Z7 chain.

The bike’s cockpit is fitted with GIANT Contact Sport handlebars and GIANT Junior grips, which, together with the forged alloy stem set at a 0° angle, ensure a comfortable and ergonomic riding position. The rims are GIANT Disc models with an internal width of 28 mm, which, together with the Kenda Karma K1237 tyres in size 20x2.6, provide excellent grip and stability. These are clincher tyres with a 60 TPI carcass and are supplied with an inner tube.

The hubs are also by GIANT and specifically designed for disc brakes, whilst the spokes are made of stainless steel, offering additional durability. The saddle is a GIANT Jr. Sports model, mounted on an alloy seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. A compatible kickstand for the GIANT KSA18 system completes the package.
