GIANT Stance E+ 2

The "Stance E+ 2" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile e-mountain bike that stands out for its robust construction and high-quality components. Priced at 3999 EUR, it offers excellent value for money for ambitious mountain bikers and leisure riders alike.

The Stance E+ 2’s frame consists of an AluxX SL main frame with a FlexPoint rear triangle, which ensures optimum suspension performance. The frame is also fitted with an integrated speed sensor and is compatible with the EnergyPak Plus, enabling an extended range. The suspension travel is 125 mm, and the bike features a SRAM UDH derailleur hanger.

Braking performance is provided by Tektro HD-M745 Orion brakes with 4-piston calipers and 203 mm discs. The brake levers are also from Tektro, model HD-M745 Orion. The drivetrain is provided by the Shimano Deore LinkGlide M5130 with 10 speeds, combined with the matching shifter and an MRP 1X HD2 chain guide.

Front suspension is provided by the SR Suntour XCR 34 LO-R fork, featuring 140 mm of travel and a Boost 15x110 mm standard. The rear shock is an SR Suntour Raidon R, which has been specially customised and measures 190x45mm. The pedals are made of aluminium and provide a stable platform.

The crankset consists of FSA Comet components with an FSA MegaTooth 36T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano LinkGlide CS-LG400-10 with a 11–43T range. The chain is a Shimano LinkGlide CN-LG500.

The bike’s cockpit features a GIANT Connect TR riser handlebar with a 20mm rise and a 31.8mm diameter, GIANT Tactal single lock-on grips and a GIANT Contact stem. The rims are GIANT AM 29", tubeless-ready, with an internal width of 30mm. The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF 29 x 2.5" foldable at the front and Maxxis Dissector 29 x 2.40" WT foldable at the rear, both tubeless and featuring EXO protection.

The hubs are GIANT eTracker models, and the spokes are made of stainless steel. The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on a GIANT seatpost with a diameter of 30.9mm. The bike is compatible with a KSA 40 side stand and the GIANT Rack-It Metro [Lite] luggage rack.

Power is provided by the GIANT SyncDrive Sport2 motor, developed by Yamaha, which delivers a torque of 75Nm. The battery, a GIANT EnergyPak Smart Integrated with a capacity of 625 Wh, can be supplemented by an EnergyPak Plus RangeExtender. The charger is a GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger Compact with an output of 4A.
