GIANT Stance E+ 1

The “Stance E+ 1” model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile e-mountain bike characterised by its high-quality components and robust construction. The price for this model is 4499 EUR.

The Stance E+ 1’s frame consists of an AluxX SL main frame with a FlexPoint rear triangle and an integrated speed sensor. It offers 125 mm of suspension travel and is EnergyPak Plus compatible. The derailleur hanger is an SRAM UDH, and the axle spacing is 12 x 148 mm.

For the brakes, GIANT has opted for the Tektro HD-M745 Orion (4-piston) with 203mm brake discs, which ensure reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Tektro, model HD-M745 Orion. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore LinkGlide M5130 10-speed system, with matching Shimano shifters. An MRP 1X HD2 chain guide provides additional chain security.

The RockShox 35 Silver fork offers 140 mm of travel and comes with a Boost 15x110 mm thru-axle. The rear shock is an SR Suntour Raidon R, 190x45 mm, which has been specially tuned. The bike is fitted with aluminium platform pedals.

The crankset is from FSA Comet and features an FSA MegaTooth 36T chainring. The cassette is a Shimano LinkGlide CS-LG400-10 with a 11–43T range, and the chain is a Shimano LinkGlide CN-LG500.

The cockpit consists of a GIANT Connect TR Riser handlebar with a 20mm rise and GIANT Tactal single lock-on grips. The stem is a GIANT Contact model. The rims are GIANT AM 29", tubeless-ready, with an internal width of 30mm. The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF 29 x 2.5" at the front and Maxxis Dissector 29 x 2.40" WT at the rear, both foldable and tubeless-compatible, with EXO protection. However, the bike is supplied with an inner tube.

The hubs are GIANT eTracker, and the spokes are made of stainless steel. The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on a GIANT Contact Switch Vario seatpost with different lengths depending on frame size (S: 125mm, M: 150 mm, L/XL: 170 mm).

The bike is compatible with a KSA 40 side stand and a GIANT Rack-It Metro [Lite] luggage rack. The Stance E+ 1 is powered by a GIANT SyncDrive Sport2 motor with 75Nm of torque, developed by Yamaha. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak Smart Integrated 625 with a capacity of 625 Wh and is compatible with the EP Plus RangeExtender. The battery is charged using the GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger Compact, which delivers 4A.
