GIANT Reign Advanced Pro 0

The "Reign Advanced Pro 0" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art mountain bike that stands out for its top-of-the-range components and innovative technology. The frame is made from Advanced full carbon and features the tried-and-tested Maestro rear triangle with a geometry flip-chip, which allows the geometry to be adjusted. A carbon derailleur hanger and a frame storage compartment round off the features. The frame offers 160 mm of travel and is suitable for tyres up to 2.5 inches wide and chainrings up to 36T. The derailleur hanger is an SRAM UDH.

The braking system consists of Shimano XTR BR-M9120 (4-piston) brakes with 220 mm front and 203 mm rear rotors, operated by Shimano XTR BL-M9120 brake levers. Gear changes are handled by the SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS electronic system with a 12-speed drivetrain, controlled via the SRAM AXS Rocker Paddle shifter. The fork is a FOX 38 Factory with GRIP2 damping, offering 170 mm of travel and Boost 15x110 mm axles. The rear shock is a FOX DHX2 Factory Coil, which has been specially tuned and features dimensions of 205x62.5 mm as well as a TrunnionMount mount.

The bike is supplied without pedals; the bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB Pressfit. The crankset consists of a SRAM XX1 Eagle with a 34T chainring and a 55 mm chainline. The cassette is a SRAM XO1 Eagle with a 10–52T range. The bike is also powered by the SRAM XO1 Eagle system. The handlebars are GIANT Contact SLR TR35 carbon with a 20 mm rise; the grips are GIANT Tactal Pro Single Lock-On. The stem is a GIANT Contact SL 35.

The wheelsets consist of Zipp 3Zero MOTO carbon rims, which are tubeless-ready and have an internal width of 30 mm. They are fitted with the TyreWizz system. The tyres are Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5WT (front) and Maxxis Minion DHR II 29x2.4WT (rear), both tubeless-ready and featuring different rubber compounds and reinforcements for optimum traction and durability. The hubs and spokes are also from Zipp 3Zero.

The saddle is a GIANT Romero SL, mounted on a TranzX Vario seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm, the travel of which varies depending on frame size (S: 120–150 mm, M: 140–170 mm, L–XL: 170–200 mm). The bike is also fitted with an MRP AMG chain guide and comes with a tubeless kit containing sealant, valves, tyre levers, a valve core remover and instructions.
