GIANT Reign 1

The “Reign 1” model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a robust and high-performance mountain bike designed for challenging trails and descents. The price for this model is 4499 EUR.

The Reign 1’s frame is made from AluxX SL material and features the Maestro rear triangle with flip-chip geometry and a carbon rocker arm. It also has an integrated frame storage compartment. The frame offers 160 mm of travel and is designed for a maximum tyre clearance of 2.5". The derailleur hanger is an SRAM UDH, ensuring greater compatibility.

The braking system consists of Shimano Deore BR-M6120 four-piston brakes with large rotors (220 mm at the front and 203 mm at the rear), which deliver excellent braking performance. The brake levers are the Shimano Deore BL-M6100, which are also renowned for their reliability.

The handlebars are GIANT Contact TR35 with a 20 mm rise, combined with GIANT Tactal Pro Single Lock-On grips and a GIANT Contact SL 35 stem. These components provide comfortable and stable handling.

The rims are GIANT AM 29, tubeless-ready with an internal width of 30 mm, fitted with Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5WT tyres at the front and Maxxis Minion DHR II 29x2.4WT tyres at the rear, both tubeless-ready and offering excellent traction. The hubs are RD02F at the front and ED260-R at the rear, connected by Sapim spokes.

The saddle is a GIANT Romero, mounted on a TranzX Vario seatpost (30.9 mm), which offers different adjustment ranges depending on frame size (S: 120–150 mm, M: 140–170 mm, L–XL: 170–200 mm).

Additional features include an MRP AMG chain guide and a tubeless kit (fluid, valves, tyre levers, valve core remover, instructions), which facilitates the conversion to tubeless tyres.
