GIANT Propel Advanced SL 0

The "Propel Advanced SL 0" model from the GIANT brand from 2023 is a state-of-the-art road bike developed for professional demands and available at a price of EUR 11,999. At the heart of this bike is the Advanced SL carbon frame with a maximum tyre clearance of 30 mm and an axle width of 12x142 mm. The fork is also made of full carbon and features the OverDrive Aero system with an axle width of 12x100 mm.

Braking power is provided by the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 HRD hydraulic disc brakes with a disc size of 160 mm at the front and 140 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also part of the Shimano Dura Ace Di2 system. The drivetrain is an electronic Shimano Dura Ace Di2 with 12 gears, while the shifters enable 2x shifting. The front derailleur is also from the Dura Ace Di2 series.

The crankset consists of Shimano Dura Ace components with 52/36T chainrings and an integrated Shimano Power Meter. The bottom bracket is a Shimano Pressfit. The sprocket covers a range of 11-30T, which ensures an optimum gear ratio. The drivetrain is provided entirely by Shimano Dura Ace components.

The cockpit of the Propel Advanced SL 0 consists of a GIANT Contact SLR Aero Carbon handlebar and a matching stem. The grips are GIANT Stratus Lite 2.0 and the wheels are CADEX 50 Ultra Disc Carbon rims, which are tubeless ready and fitted with CADEX Aero tyres in size 700x25c, which are also supplied tubeless. The hubs are CADEX R3-C40 and the spokes are made of CADEX Super Aero Carbon.

The saddle is a GIANT Fleet SLR, mounted on an Advanced SL Carbon seat post with Integrated Seat Post (ISP). Additional features include a computer mount for stem integration, two bottle cages and a tubeless kit containing sealant, valves, tyre levers, a valve core tool and a user manual.

Pedals are not included and must be purchased separately. Overall, the Propel Advanced SL 0 is a fully equipped road bike that is characterised by its high-quality components and aerodynamic design.
