GIANT Propel Advanced 1

The "Propel Advanced 1" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a state-of-the-art road bike that stands out for its advanced technology and high-quality components. Priced at 4799 EUR, it offers excellent value for money for ambitious cyclists.

The Propel Advanced 1’s frame is made from Advanced Carbon and features a 12x142 mm thru-axle. The maximum tyre clearance is 30 mm, allowing for a versatile choice of tyres. The fork is also made from full carbon and comes with the OverDrive Aero System and a 12x100 mm thru-axle.

For the brakes, GIANT has opted for the SRAM Rival eTap AXS HRD system with 160 mm front and 140 mm rear brake discs. The brake levers are also from the SRAM Rival eTap AXS series. The gear system comprises a 12-speed drivetrain with SRAM Rival eTap AXS components, including a 2-speed shifter and a front derailleur from the same series. The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB Pressfit, whilst the crankset with 48/35T chainrings and a cassette with a 10–30T range ensure optimum power transfer.

The handlebars are GIANT Contact SL Aero, combined with GIANT Stratus Lite 2.0 grips and a GIANT Contact SL Aero stem. The wheels feature GIANT SLR 2 Disc carbon rims, which are tubeless-ready and 50 mm high. The tyres are GIANT Gavia Course 1 in size 700x25c, also tubeless-ready and supplied without an inner tube.

The hubs and spokes are also part of the GIANT SLR 2 Disc system, ensuring high stability and durability. The saddle is a GIANT Fleet SL model, mounted on a GIANT Vector Carbon seatpost.

Additional features include a computer mount for integration into the stem, two bottle cages and a complete tubeless kit, comprising sealant, valves, tyre levers, a valve core tool and an instruction manual. Pedals are not included.
