GIANT FastRoad SL 1

The "FastRoad SL 1" model from GIANT, released in 2022, is a versatile and high-performance bike that stands out for its high-quality components and precision craftsmanship. Priced at €1,299, it offers excellent value for money for ambitious cyclists.

The FastRoad SL 1’s frame is made from AluxX SL aluminium and features a maximum tyre clearance of 35 mm, allowing for flexible adaptation to different road conditions. The fork is made from Advanced Carbon and fitted with an OD1 aluminium steerer tube, ensuring additional stability and low weight.

The bike’s brakes are Tektro HD-R280 disc brakes, with 160 mm at the front and 140 mm at the rear, which impress with their reliability and powerful braking performance. The brake levers are also Tektro HD-R280, ensuring consistent operation.

The drivetrain utilises the tried-and-tested Shimano 105 system. This is an 11-speed drivetrain, complemented by the Shimano 105 front derailleur and shift levers.
