GIANT FastRoad AR 2

The "FastRoad AR 2" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile and high-performance bike available at a price of 1199 EUR. The frame is made from AluxX SL material and offers a maximum tyre clearance of 42 mm, making it suitable for various types of terrain. The braking system comprises Tektro HD-R280 disc brakes with a 160 mm diameter and matching brake levers, which ensure reliable stopping power.

The drivetrain is fitted with Shimano Sora components, including a 9-speed rear derailleur, a 2-speed front derailleur and a Shimano Sora front derailleur. The rims are GIANT S-X2 Disc, which are tubeless-ready and come fitted with GIANT Gavia Fondo AR 1 tyres in size 700x40c. These tyres are also tubeless-ready and have a 60 TPI casing. The hubs and spokes are also part of the GIANT S-X2 Disc system.

The saddle is a GIANT ErgoMax model, mounted on a GIANT D-Fuse seatpost, which provides additional comfort. The bike is also compatible with the GIANT KSA18 kickstand and the GIANT Rack-It Metro (Lite) luggage rack. It also comes with a tubeless kit containing sealant, valves, tyre levers, a valve core tool and an instruction manual.
