GIANT Escape

The "Escape" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile bike that is ideal for everyday use and leisure rides. Priced at 799 EUR, it offers excellent value for money. The frame is made from robust AluxX aluminium and has a maximum tyre clearance of 45 mm, ensuring added stability and comfort.

The bike’s braking system consists of Tektro HD-R280 disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, which deliver reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Tektro and ensure precise control. The gear system is a Shimano Altus M310 with 8 speeds, combined with Shimano Altus SL-M2010 shift levers, which ensure smooth gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-TY710, which assists with gear changes at the front crankset.

The bike’s fork is also made from AluxX aluminium and features quick-release axles for easy maintenance. The bottom bracket is a cartridge model, known for its durability and low maintenance. The crankset is made from forged aluminium with 46/30T chainrings and a chain guard that extends the life of the chain. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG31 with an 11–34T range, offering a wide gear ratio range. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z8.3 chain.

The handlebars are a GIANT Sport XC model, which, together with the GIANT Connect Ergo grips, ensure comfortable handling. The stem is also by GIANT and provides additional stability. The rims are GIANT Disc models, fitted with GIANT S-X2 tyres in 700x38c with a 30 TPI casing. This combination offers a good balance between speed and comfort. The hubs are also by GIANT and contribute to the bike’s overall robustness.

The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on a GIANT D-Fuse seatpost, which provides additional comfort. A GIANT KSA18 kickstand is also included, making it easier to park the bike. For added practicality and versatility, the bike is fitted with GIANT MIK luggage racks and mudguards.
