GIANT DailyTour E+ 1 RT

The "DailyTour E+ 1 RT" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a high-quality e-bike designed for everyday use and touring. It is available at a price of 3699 EUR and offers a wide range of technical features that ensure both comfort and performance.

The DailyTour E+ 1 RT features an AluxX SL frame, which is renowned for its lightness and stability. The brakes are Tektro HD-M285 with a 160mm disc and an additional coaster brake, providing extra safety. The brake levers are also Tektro HD-M285. The bike’s gear system is a Shimano Nexus C6000-8CD with 8 speeds, controlled via a Shimano Nexus C6000-8 twist shifter.

The bike’s fork is an SR Suntour NEX E25 with 63mm of travel and a 15x100mm axle, ensuring a comfortable ride even on uneven roads. The front light is an Axa BlueLine with 30 lux, supplemented by an Axa BlueLine Steady E6 light, which ensures sufficient visibility in the dark. The pedals are made of aluminium and are the VP-183 model.

The crankset consists of a GIANT 38T, whilst the rear sprocket has an 18T configuration. The rims are GIANT eX2, tubeless-ready with an internal width of 21mm, and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon E Plus 700x50c (622x50) with GreenGuard technology, supplied with inner tubes as standard. The hubs are Shimano HB-MT400 at the front and Shimano Nexus 8 at the rear, with Sapim Race and Sapim Strong spokes.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Look-In Gel, mounted on a suspension seatpost with a diameter of 30.9mm, which offers additional comfort. A GIANT KSA18 kickstand ensures stability when parking the bike. The MIK luggage rack allows you to carry additional luggage safely.

At the heart of the e-bike is the GIANT SyncDrive Core motor with 50Nm of torque, powered by Yamaha. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak Smart Integrated with a capacity of 625 Wh, controlled via the GIANT RideDash Evo display. A GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger with a charging capacity of 6A is used for recharging.
