GIANT AnyTour RS 2

The "AnyTour RS 2" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile and well-equipped bike, available at a price of 1049 EUR. The frame is an AluxX frame with quick-release (QR) skewers, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction.

The brakes are Shimano BR-MT200s with 160 mm discs, operated by Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers, ensuring reliable braking performance. The rear derailleur is a Shimano Deore RD-M592 SGS, offering a 9-speed drivetrain. The shift levers are Shimano Altus SL-M2010 with a 3-speed system, supported by the Shimano Acera FD-T3000 front derailleur.

The SR Suntour NEX HLO fork, with 63 mm of travel and quick-release skewers, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by the Busch&Müller LUMOTEC Upp N Plus front light (30 lux) and the Busch&Müller Toplight 2C Plus rear light.

The bike comes with pedals and features a Shimano BB-UN26 bottom bracket. The crankset is a Shimano Acera FC-T3010 with 48/36/26T chainrings and a chain guard. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG201 with 11–34T, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X-9 chain.

The handlebars are GIANT Custom 31.8, fitted with GIANT Contact Ergo Max Lock-On grips. The Satori stem is angle-adjustable and has a length of 110 mm. The rims are GIANT GX28, and the tyres are GIANT P-X3 in size 700x45c, supplied with inner tubes. The hubs are a Shimano DH-3D32 at the front and a Formula GDC-1022 at the rear, and the spokes are by Sapim.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Gel, mounted on a GIANT Sport seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The bike is also fitted with a GIANT KSA18 kickstand and a Massload SMS MIK luggage rack. Additional features include Sunnywheel aluminium mudguards.

The bike’s geometry offers a comfortable riding position with the following dimensions: Reach 405 mm, Stack 671 mm, seat tube length 600 mm, top tube length 610 mm, head tube angle 69 degrees, seat tube angle 73 degrees, head tube length 190 mm, chainstay length 455 mm, bottom bracket drop 70 mm, fork offset 42 mm, top tube height 853 mm and a crank length of 175 mm. The wheelbase measures 1130 mm in total.
