GIANT AnyTour RS 1

The "AnyTour RS 1" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile and high-performance bike available at a price of 1299 EUR. The bike’s frame is an AluxX frame with QR, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction.

The brakes are Shimano BR-MT400 with 160 mm discs, controlled by Shimano BL-MT401 brake levers. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore XT RD-T8000 SGS 10-speed rear derailleur, combined with a Shimano Deore SL-T6000 shifter offering three-speed shifting. The front derailleur is a Shimano Deore FD-T6000.

The bike’s fork is an SR Suntour NCX-D LO with 63 mm of travel and a quick-release (QR) mechanism, which provides comfortable suspension. For lighting, the model is fitted with a Busch&Müller LUMOTEC Eyc N Plus front light with 50 lux and a Busch&Müller Toplight 2C Plus rear light. Pedals are included.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-52, and the crankset consists of a Shimano Deore FC-T6010 with chainrings in sizes 48/36/26T, including a chain guard. The cassette is a Shimano HG-500 with a 11-34T range, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X-10 chain.

The handlebars are GIANT Custom 31.8, complemented by GIANT Contact Ergo Max Lock-On grips and a GIANT Sport stem with a length of 110 mm. The rims are GIANT GX28, and the tyres are GIANT P-X3 in size 700x45c, supplied with inner tubes. The hubs are Shimano DH-3D32 at the front and Formula GDC-1022 at the rear, and the spokes are by Sapim.

The saddle is a Selle Royal Nuvola Gel, mounted on a GIANT Sport seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The bike also features a GIANT KSA18 kickstand and a Massload SMS MIK luggage rack. Additional fittings include Sunnywheel aluminium mudguards.

In terms of geometry, the bike has a reach of 405 mm, a stack of 671 mm, a seat tube length of 600 mm and a top tube length of 610 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees. The head tube length is 190 mm, the chainstay length is 455 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm. The fork offset is 42 mm, the top tube height is 853 mm, the crank length is 175 mm and the wheelbase measures 1130 mm in total.

The AnyTour RS 1 is therefore a well-equipped bike that is suitable for both everyday use and longer tours, combining comfort, safety and performance.
