GIANT AnyTour CS

The "AnyTour CS" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile, high-quality bicycle that is particularly well-suited to touring and everyday use. It is priced at 1299 EUR.

The bike’s frame is made from robust AluxX aluminium, which guarantees durability and stability. The fork is also made from GIANT AluxX aluminium and features a QR quick-release mechanism. Reliable braking performance is provided by the Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, operated by the Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers.

The gear system is fitted with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub gear, operated by the Shimano Nexus SL-C6000 twist shifter. Power is transmitted via a low-maintenance Gates CDN belt, which is combined with a Gates CDN Urban S150 crankset with 46 teeth and a Gates CDN sprocket with 22 teeth. The bottom bracket is a Thun Zumba.

Lighting is provided by the Busch&Müller LUMOTEC Avy Senso Plus front light (40 lux) and the Busch&Müller Toplight 2C Plus rear light, which ensure good visibility in traffic. The pedals are included.

The handlebars are GIANT Custom 31.8, fitted with GIANT Contact Ergo Max Lock-On grips. The stem is a GIANT Sport with a length of 110 mm. The rims are GIANT GX28, and the tyres are GIANT P-X3 in size 700x45c, which are supplied with inner tubes. The hubs consist of a Shimano DH-3D37 at the front and a Shimano Nexus SG-C6001-8D at the rear. The spokes are by Sapim.

The saddle is a comfortable Selle Royal Nuvola Gel, mounted on a GIANT Sport seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. A GIANT KSA18 kickstand ensures the bike stands securely, and the Massload SMS MIK luggage rack provides space for additional luggage. The Sunnywheel aluminium mudguards protect against dirt and splashes.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 405 mm, a stack of 671 mm, a seat tube length of 600 mm and a top tube length of 610 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees, the seat tube angle 73 degrees, the head tube length 190 mm, the chainstay length 455 mm and the bottom bracket drop 70 mm. The fork offset is 42 mm, the standover height is 853 mm and the crank length is 175 mm. The bike’s wheelbase measures 1130 mm in total.

The GIANT AnyTour CS is therefore a well-equipped touring bike that combines comfort, reliability and functionality in an attractive design.
