Focus PARALANE² 6.8 GC

The Focus PARALANE² 6.8 GC from 2020 is a versatile e-road bike that is characterised by its sophisticated combination of aluminium frame and high-quality components. The frame is made of F.I.T aluminium and is equipped with the innovative RAT Evo technology, which enables quick and easy wheel assembly. The internal cable routing ensures a tidy appearance and protects the cables from external influences. With a weight of 15 kg, the bike is relatively light for an E-Road model and offers a good balance between stability and agility.

The brakes and derailleur are from the Shimano GRX 400 series, which was specially developed for gravel and off-road use and guarantees reliable performance in a wide range of conditions. The carbon fork with disc brake is also equipped with RAT Evo technology, which makes maintenance easier and increases stiffness. The aluminium FSA CK-746 crankset and Shimano HG500 cassette complete the drivetrain, which is based on the Shimano Tiagra CN-4601 to ensure precise shifting performance.

The bike has BBB Basic aluminium handlebars with a drop of 125 mm and a reach of 70 mm as well as a BBB Rider BHS-109 stem, which ensures a comfortable riding position with a tilt angle of 7 degrees. The grips are made of Focus Bartape SL, which offers additional comfort. The 28-inch Alex Rims Boondocks wheelset is fitted with Vittoria Terreno Zero TLR tyres, which are characterised by their foldable construction and a width of 32 mm, which enables good traction on various surfaces.

The Prologo Scratch saddle and the BBB Basic aluminium seatpost offer comfort on longer rides. The Curana C-Lite mudguards protect against splash water and dirt. The electric drive is provided by the FAZUA evation motor with 60 Nm torque and 250 W power, supported by a 250 Wh battery. The FAZUA evation 2.0 remote display offers intuitive operation of the e-drive. With a price tag of 4199 EUR, the Focus PARALANE² 6.8 GC offers a balanced ratio of performance, comfort and technology for demanding riders.
