Focus ATLAS 6.8

The ATLAS 6.8 model from Focus from 2024 is a versatile and powerful bike designed for demanding riders. The frame is made of high-quality aluminium and is equipped with a disc brake mount. It offers a BSA bottom bracket mount and a 148x12 mm Thru-Axle, which ensures high rigidity and stability. The internal cable routing gives the bike a tidy appearance. With a permissible total weight of 120 kg and a tare weight of just 10 kg, the ATLAS 6.8 is both robust and light.

The brake system consists of Shimano GRX ST-RX600 levers and BR-RX400 brake callipers, which are fitted with 160 mm brake discs at both the front and rear. These components offer reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. Shifting is provided by the Shimano GRX RD-RX810 rear derailleur in combination with a GRX FD-RX600 front derailleur and a GRX ST-RX600 shifter, which together provide 22 gears. The crankset is the Shimano GRX FC-RX600, also 11-speed, and is complemented by a Shimano 105 R7000 cassette.

The fork of the ATLAS 6.8 is made of carbon and has a disc brake mount with 110x12 mm Thru-Axle as well as several mounting points, which increases the versatility of the bike. The wheelset consists of DT Swiss G1800 rims fitted with 700 x 45C WTB Riddler tyres, which provide excellent grip and comfort.

The handlebar is the FOCUS JD RA85 with a diameter of 31.8 mm, a drop of 116 mm, a reach of 74 mm and a flare of 10°. The stem is made of aluminium, has a stem length of 90 mm and is inclined by 6°. The saddle is a WTB SL8 model, mounted on a BBB FlyPost carbon seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm.

In terms of geometry, the ATLAS 6.8 offers a reach of 420 mm and a stack of 643 mm. The top tube measures 610 mm in length, while the head tube angle is 71 degrees. The seat tube angle is 74 degrees and the head tube has a length of 194 mm. The chainstays are 425 mm long, the bottom bracket drop is 75 mm, and the fork pre-bend measures 50 mm. The standover height is 862 mm, the crank length is 175 mm and the wheelbase is 1092 mm.
