The "Beryll Deluxe+ Gen 2 (low step-through)" model from Diamant, launched in 2022, is a versatile e-bike designed with comfort and functionality in mind. Priced at €3,269, this bike offers a wide range of technical features and specifications that make it an attractive choice for everyday use.

The frame is constructed from high-performance hydroformed aluminium tubes and features internal cable routing and a Motor Armor. It is designed for a post-mount disc brake mount and has a 135 x 5 mm quick-release axle. The Alpha Smooth Aluminium with Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) ensures seamless integration of the battery. The maximum permissible weight is 136 kg, making the bike robust and durable.

Safety and control are ensured by hydraulic disc brakes, which are either Shimano MT200 or C-Star Power models, depending on availability. The disc brakes are fitted with Centre Lock mounts, with front and rear disc diameters of 180 mm and 160 mm respectively. The gear lever is a Shimano Nexus C7000 with 5 speeds, ensuring reliable and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour NEX fork with coil spring offers 50 mm of travel and adjustable spring preload, providing additional riding comfort. The Schwalbe Energizer Active Plus tyres with GreenGuard puncture protection offer additional protection and are ECE-R75 certified, making them ideal for use on e-bikes. The wheelset consists of Bontrager Connection hollow-section rims with an internal width of 20 mm.

The Selle Royal Nuvola saddle, combined with a suspension aluminium seatpost, ensures a comfortable ride. Mudguards from SKS and a Pletscher Comp Flex 18 kickstand are also included. An aluminium luggage rack with a spring-loaded flap and MIK system rounds off the specification.

The Bosch Performance Line motor, with 250 watts of power, 65 Nm of torque and assistance up to 25 km/h, combined with the Bosch PowerTube battery, provides powerful and sustained assistance. The Bosch Intuvia display with remote control offers intuitive operation. The battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is charged using a Bosch standard 4A charger.

The bike’s geometry is designed for comfort, with dimensions such as a top tube length of 58 mm, a head tube angle of 68 degrees and a seat tube angle of 71 degrees. The wheelbase is 113 mm, which contributes to the bike’s stability.
