Cube Travel grey´n´teak

The ‘Travel grey’n’teak’ model from Cube, released in 2022, is a versatile and robust trekking bike that is just as suitable for urban use as it is for longer rides. The price for this model is 949 EUR.

The bike’s frame is made from Superlite aluminium, Urban 29, Taper, Double Butted, ensuring a stable yet lightweight construction. The fork is also made from aluminium and is a rigid fork, which helps to reduce weight whilst enabling precise steering.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors at both the front and rear. These offer reliable stopping power in a variety of conditions. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano RD-M3100 9-speed rear derailleur, combined with a Shimano SL-M3100-R Rapidfire-Plus shifter and a Shimano Altus FD-M370 front derailleur. The crankset is a Shimano FC-T4060 with 48x36x26T chainrings and a length of 175 mm. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG200 with a 11-34T range, and the chain is a KMC X9.

Lighting is provided by a CUBE Shiny 50 front light and an ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-D rear light, which is powered by 6V AC. These ensure good visibility in the dark and in poor lighting conditions.

The bike is fitted with ACID PP Trekking pedals, which offer a secure grip. The handlebars are CUBE Comfort Trail Bars with a width of 660 mm, and the grips are Natural Fit Comfort for added comfort on longer rides. The rims are CUBE EX21, 32H, disc and tubeless-ready, which allows for the use of tubeless tyres. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Almotion PerfL Kevlar in size 55x622, which are renowned for their durability and puncture resistance. The front hub is a Shimano DH-3D37 hub dynamo with quick-release and CentreLock, and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-M3050 with CentreLock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Screwlock with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The bike is also fitted with ACID 65 BB-Mount mudguards to protect against splashes, as well as a CUBEstand Cmpt kickstand for easy parking. The luggage rack is an ACID Semi-Integrated Carrier, which is compatible with the ACID RILink adapter and thus offers versatile transport options.
