Cube Touring Hybrid EXC 625 iridium´n´green

The “Touring Hybrid EXC 625 iridium’n’green” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a high-quality e-bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and modern technology. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and utilises Gravity Casting Technology to provide an efficient, comfort-oriented geometry. The frame features a tapered head tube and a fully integrated battery, and is fitted with the Integrated Carrier 2.0, which ensures additional comfort and functionality. The bike’s total weight is 27 kg.

Safe and reliable braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT420/MT400 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm brake discs. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M6100-SGS, ShadowPlus, 12-speed rear derailleur, complemented by the Shimano Deore SL-M6100 Rapidfire-Plus shift lever. The SR Suntour XCR32 LO-R Air fork, with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures optimum riding comfort on a variety of surfaces.

Lighting is provided by the Herrmans H-Black MR8 front light and the Herrmans H-Trace rear light, which ensure good visibility and safety on the road. The pedals are ACID PP Trekking pedals. The handlebars are 700 mm wide CUBE Comfort Trail Bars, complemented by Natural Fit Comfort grips and an adjustable Satori Up2 Plus stem. The headset varies depending on frame size, with the M and L models fitted with the ACROS AZF-1039 and the EE model with the ACROS AZX-1041 BlockLock.

The rims are CUBE EX23, tubeless-ready and fitted with 36 spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe Energizer Plus in the Performance version with Green Guard technology, in size 55-622. The hubs are from Shimano: the HB-M4050 at the front and the FH-MT401 at the rear, both with quick-release mechanisms and CentreLock brake disc mounts.

The Natural Fit Sequence Comfort saddle, mounted on a CUBE Suspension Seatpost HD with a 30.9 mm diameter, provides additional comfort. The saddle is clamped using the CUBE Varioclose with a 34.9 mm diameter. The bike is also fitted with ACID 65 mudguards, a CUBEstand Cmpt kickstand and a CUBE Integrated Carrier 2.0 luggage rack, which is compatible with both CUBE adapters and SnapIt.

At the heart of the drive system is the Bosch Performance Generation 3 motor, delivering 65 Nm of torque and 250 watts of power, combined with a Bosch PowerTube 625 battery. The Bosch Intuvia display offers a user-friendly interface for controlling the e-bike.
