The "Nuroad Race grey'n'black" model from Cube, released in 2024, is a versatile and high-performance gravel bike that is suitable for both sporty rides and longer tours. Priced at 1,699 EUR, it offers high-quality components and well-thought-out technical features.

The Nuroad Race’s frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and, thanks to its Gravel Comfort Geometry, offers a comfortable ride. The flat-mount disc brake mounts and the options for mudguards and a luggage rack highlight the frame’s versatility. The rear axle is fitted with a 12x142mm thru-axle system, which provides additional stiffness and stability. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst it weighs just 10 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust companion.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes with flat-mount mounts and 160mm discs at the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX810, which is a direct-mount 11-speed rear derailleur. The front derailleur is also from the Shimano GRX series (FD-R810), guaranteeing precise and reliable shifting performance.

The Nuroad Race’s fork is a full-carbon CUBE Nuroad Flat Mount Disc with a tapered steerer tube (1 1/8" – 1 1/4") and mounting points for mudguards and a lowrider. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500 with a 68mm BSA threaded mount. The crankset is also from the Shimano GRX series (FC-RX600) and offers a 46x30T gear ratio. The cassette is a Shimano 105 CS-HG700 with a 11–34T range, whilst the drivetrain is powered by a Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain.

The handlebars are CUBE Gravel Race Bars, wrapped in ACID CX bar tape to ensure comfort and grip. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem SLX with a diameter of 31.8mm. The headset consists of a VP Z-t, which is zero-stack at the top (1 1/8", OD 44mm) and integrated at the bottom (1 1/4").

The Nuroad Race is fitted with Schwalbe G-One Allround tyres with Kevlar reinforcement in size 40-622, mounted on a CUBE GR 2.3 Disc wheelset. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2mm. The saddle is clamped in place using an integrated clamp from CUBE Nuroad.
