Cube Nuroad Race grey´n´black

The ‘Nuroad Race grey’n’black’ model from Cube, released in 2023, is a versatile and high-performance gravel bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at €1,699, it offers excellent value for money.

The Nuroad Race’s frame is made from 6061 T6 Superlite aluminium and features Gravel Comfort Geometry, which ensures a comfortable and stable ride. The frame is also fitted with flat-mount disc brakes, provision for mudguards and a luggage rack, and a 12x142mm thru-axle. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg, making it a lightweight yet robust companion.

The brakes are Shimano BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance in all conditions. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX810, Direct Mount, 11-speed system, supported by a Shimano GRX FD-R810 front derailleur. This combination enables precise and rapid gear changes, which are particularly advantageous on rough terrain.

The bike’s fork is a full-carbon CUBE Nuroad Flat Mount Disc fork, fitted with a tapered steerer tube (1 1/8" – 1 1/4") and featuring mounts for mudguards and a lowrider. The crankset is a Shimano GRX FC-RX600 with 46x30T, complemented by a Shimano 105 CS-HG700 cassette with 11-34T. The drivetrain is completed by a Shimano CN-HG601-11 chain.

The Nuroad Race’s cockpit comprises a CUBE Gravel Race Bar handlebar, wrapped in ACID Bartape CX handlebar tape, and a CUBE Performance Stem SLX stem with a diameter of 31.8mm. The headset is a VP Z-t, Top Zero-Stack 1 1/8" (OD 44mm), Bottom Integrated 1 1/4".

The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround Kevlar tyres in size 40-622, fitted to a CUBE GR 2.3 Disc wheelset. This combination offers excellent grip and stability on a wide variety of surfaces. The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec, fitted to a CUBE Performance Post seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Nuroad Integrated Seat Clamp.
